Some say life's the heart
Beating uninterrupted.
Some say life's the brain
Thinking thoughts convoluted.
Or is life the sperm?
So mindlessly porpoising
From gonad to egg
Cajolingly promising.
“Sweet life you shall have
From cuddling cradle to crypt.
There may be some blips
Mostly it is bearable.”
“You will do this and
You will do that and maybe
Some days you will do
